- Subject
- The economics of institutional AI: what labs, platforms, states, and central banks commit, spend, and decide, and what those decisions do to balance sheets, grids, and growth.
- Method
- Every figure carries a date and a primary source. Announced and deployed capital are kept separate. Estimates are labeled as estimates and attributed to whoever made them. Nothing here is investment advice.
- Site
- Hand-written HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No framework, no analytics, no cookies. Charts are drawn in SVG from the data on the page and can be switched to a table. Page transitions use the browser's View Transitions API; reveals use scroll-driven animation where the browser supports it and stay still when you've asked for reduced motion. The ledger is a JSON file and a short build script. Set in Geist and Geist Mono.
